EFCC Arrests Content Creator for Naira Abuse in Viral Video

 

Muhammed Kabir Sa’ad, a social media content creator, has been apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly abusing Naira banknotes in Kaduna State.

Sa’ad was arrested by EFCC operatives in the Tudun Wada area.

The EFCC reported that Sa’ad posted a video on his TikTok and Instagram accounts (@youngcee0066), in which he threw Naira notes on the ground and deliberately stepped on them.

In the video, he provocatively challenged the agency in Hausa, daring them to arrest him if they could.

The EFCC announced the arrest in a statement via its official X account (@officialEFCC) on May 5, 2025.

Following the incident, Muhammed Kabir Sa’ad, a content creator was monitored and subsequently taken to the Kaduna Zonal Directorate for questioning.

The Commission has emphasized its intention to file charges against him once the interrogation is complete.
