President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, to intervene in the ongoing land dispute between Bayero University, Kano (BUK), and neighboring communities by issuing the university the necessary title deed.

Tinubu made the appeal on Saturday during BUK’s 39th convocation ceremony, where he was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Ahmed.
He acknowledged the university’s long-standing challenge of land encroachment and emphasized the need for a proper title to secure its property.
