14 Rescued as Building Collapses in Lekki, Lagos
Fourteen people were pulled from the rubble after a building under construction collapsed on Oriwu Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, on Wednesday.
Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, stating that the structure came down around 4 p.m.
Emergency responders quickly mobilized to the site to rescue those trapped under the debris.

Hundeyin said: “All 14 survivors have been taken to Lagos Island General Hospital for medical attention.”
Security operatives remain on the scene to support ongoing rescue efforts.
The cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, but authorities are expected to launch a full investigation into the incident.
