19-yr-old apprentice steals millions from master within two years of apprenticeship

A 19-year-old apprentice has reportedly stolen millions of naira from his boss within just two years of working under him.
The details of this shocking revelation were shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
According to the post, the young man diverted funds for various personal expenses, including giving ₦500,000 to his girlfriend, spending ₦420,000 on betting, sending ₦750,000 to his parents, and saving over ₦1.7 million in his account.
He also used substantial amounts on frivolous expenditures.
The post read: “A 19-year-old boy going through an apprenticeship program was stealing money from his boss.”
“In less than two years with his oga, he had sent over ₦750,000 to his parents, ₦500,000 to his girlfriend, ₦420,000 on betting, ₦700,000 on frivolities, and still has over ₦1.7 million in a savings account.”
From his phone conversations, it was evident that his parents were demanding this money from him. Some parents are enablers of the societal decadence we face today. This is why a 20-year-old boy with no known source of income can come home with a Benz, and his parents would celebrate.”
