Fatal Accident Claims Life of FUL Lecturer in Felele, Lokoja
A tragic accident occurred this evening at Felele, Lokoja, Kogi State, as a trailer crushed a lecturer from the Federal University of Lokoja. The victim, identified as Mrs. Kemi Emmanuel, a respected Theatre Arts Lecturer, was confirmed dead at the scene.
This heartbreaking incident has once again raised concerns about the growing rate of accidents involving heavy-duty trailers along the Felele axis. Residents and students are calling on the Kogi State Government to take urgent action to prevent further loss of lives.
It is being suggested that trailers should be restricted from moving within the city until after 9:00 p.m. to reduce traffic risks and ensure the safety of commuters, students, and residents around Felele.
