The National Association of Ondo State Students has officially announced the opening of registration for scholarship and bursary awards, as well as financial assistance for the 2024/2025 academic session.
In a statement released on Sunday, Hammed Oyelade, the National President of the Association, urged all eligible Ondo State students nationwide to take advantage of this valuable opportunity provided by the Ondo State Scholarship Board.
Oyelade confirmed that the registration portal at https://odssb.org.ng is now available for submissions from May 1st to May 30th, welcoming applications from students across various levels of tertiary education.
He stated, “The application portal is now open for scholarships, bursaries, and financial assistance that aim to support students in their academic pursuits. This initiative exemplifies the Ondo State Government’s dedication to enhancing the educational development and welfare of its citizens.”
Oyelade encouraged all qualified students—whether enrolled in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, nursing/midwifery schools, or health technology institutions—to visit the official portal for registration.
Eligibility criteria include being a student of a tertiary institution with a certificate of Ondo State origin, a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for university and polytechnic students, and excludes part-time and sandwich programs.
Additionally, financial assistance will be available for students pursuing law, clinical medicine, or those with disabilities.

The President also highlighted that the board offers expanded support services designed to assist students in accessing external funding from foundations, NGOs, and private donors.
