“AFAM Osigwe Sworn In As 32nd President Of The Nigeria Bar Association”

Afam Osigwe has officially assumed the role of the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), following a swearing-in ceremony held in Lagos. Osigwe, who previously served as the General Secretary of the NBA, won the presidential election in July 2023 by securing 50.52% of the votes. He defeated Tobenna Erojikwe and Chukwuka Ikwuazom to claim the position.
In his inaugural address, Osigwe highlighted his dedication to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that the NBA actively holds both federal and state governments accountable. He expressed gratitude to NBA members for their trust in his leadership and committed to working diligently for the advancement of the association and the wider Nigerian society.
