Armed Bandits killed Two, Abduct Woman in Katsina Village
In the early hours gunmen stormed Gidan Taro in Kafur Local Government, Katsina State, unleashing indiscriminate gunfire that left two residents dead and one woman missing. FCNN report that the attackers struck at approximately 12:20 a.m., fatally wounding 46-year-old Reverend Emmanuel Na Allah Auta and Sama’ila Goma. Both men were rushed to the General Hospital in Malumfashi, where they were pronounced dead.
During the assault, the assailants also abducted 25-year-old Maryam Ezikiel, spiriting her off to an unknown destination. Security forces swiftly cordoned off the village, launched a manhunt, and continue to pursue leads in hopes of rescuing the kidnapped woman and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
