Tinubu consoles Minister over mother’s demis

Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed condolences to Dr. Kunle Salako, the Minister of State for Health, on the passing of his mother, Alhaja Fadilat Anike Salako, on Wednesday at 95.

In a message of sympathy contained in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the President acknowledged the deep pain that comes with losing a mother, no matter how long she has lived.

Tinubu encouraged Salako to take solace in the enduring legacy of hard work and strong family values instilled by the late matriarch.

“No matter how long a mother has lived, it is always a painful feeling to lose one’s mother.

“Remembering the bond of love that often exists between mother and child, you must feel sorrow at this time. Please accept my heartfelt condolences,” Tinubu said.

Nigeria President Bola Ahmed also praised Alhaja Fadilat for her life of industry and devotion to faith, highlighting her contributions as a successful businesswoman and a strong adherent of Islamic principles.
