We’ve Recovered ₦78m from Stolen ₦180m Funds – VDM Provides Update on Hack Investigation

Controversial social critic, Verydarkman, has revealed that his NGO has successfully recovered ₦78 million out of the ₦180 million stolen from its account in a cyber attack. This update follows his alarm raised on Instagram last Friday, where he disclosed the hacking incident and the disappearance of the substantial funds.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Verydarkman’s initial statement met with skepticism, with some questioning the legitimacy of his claims.

However, the latest developments, shared via Instagram on Sunday, have reassured his followers and the public.

“Thanks to the people who called to check up on me. I also want to thank God for the process so far: we have been able to recover ₦78m, even though the suspect pointed out that the person he did with has run to Ghana, so hopefully, we would be going to Ghana very soon,” he stated in the update.

As the investigation progresses, law enforcement is involved, and one of the suspects has already been apprehended. Furthermore, the NGO’s app was temporarily shut down to prevent further breaches. Verydarkman remains hopeful that more of the stolen funds will be recovered as efforts intensify.
