Benue Girl Murdered by Ex-Boyfriend in Lagos Over Breakup

Tragedy struck in Lagos as a young interior designer, Deborah Moses, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche, was brutally murdered by her ex-boyfriend months after ending their relationship.

The suspect, identified as Lintex, a native of Otukpo, Benue State, reportedly disguised himself as a dispatch rider to gain access to Deborah’s estate. When security became suspicious, he scaled the fence and allegedly tampered with her gas pipe in a failed attempt to trigger an explosion.

Unable to carry out that plan, Lintex broke into her apartment and viciously stabbed Deborah to death.

The victim’s sister disclosed that Deborah had ended the relationship over a year ago, but the suspect had persistently stalked and threatened her, vowing that “if he couldn’t have her, no one else would.”

Deborah, who had just completed her NYSC and was beginning to establish herself as an interior decorator, was described as a hardworking and ambitious young woman.

Neighbors restrained the suspect after the attack and handed him over to the police. He is currently in custody as family members and rights activists call for justice, warning that the case must not be swept under the carpet.
