Big Brother Naija alum and actress Bisola Aiyeola recently marked a special milestone in her daughter’s life by gifting her a phone for the very first time on her 16th birthday.
Taking to Instagram, the proud mother shared heartwarming photos of her daughter, expressing deep gratitude for God’s blessings upon their family.
She reflected on how quickly her daughter has grown, jokingly asking her followers to thank her for the birthday gift.
Bisola playfully hinted at releasing a video of the phone presentation and even teased the possibility of sharing her daughter’s Instagram handle — but only if fans ask nicely.
She wrote:
“My princess is 16 today, Fam, and yes, guys, I’m emotional. God has truly been good and kind to me and my family. I can’t believe my baby is so grown, guys, and yes, she’s finally gotten her phone. You people should tell me thank you oooo. Would you like to see the video where I presented her with the phone? Oya, beg me, and I’ll share it and maybe share her Instagram handle, too.”
This milestone comes after the Big Brother Naija alum publicly addressed criticism over her parenting style. In a 2024 interview with Maria Chike, she spoke about being judged for her strict approach — particularly for withholding a phone from her daughter until she turned 16.
She also recounted an incident where she disciplined her daughter for secretly creating a smart chat account, emphasizing her commitment to intentional and protective parenting.
