Boko Haram Attacks Borno Village, Destroys Military Equipment
Suspected Boko Haram terrorists launched an attack on Kawuri village in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, destroying three patrol vehicles belonging to the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and three military armoured tanks.
The assault, which occurred on Sunday night, caused residents to flee into the bush for safety. According to reliable sources, the military repelled the attackers during the encounter, and there were no immediate casualties. However, the fleeing terrorists planted Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along the Konduga-Kawuri Road to block troop reinforcements.

Tragically, a CJTF member, Abba Godori, was killed on Tuesday morning after stepping on one of the planted IEDs while on patrol.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Kenneth Daso, for comments were unsuccessful. However, a retired senior civil servant from the area confirmed the attack and expressed concern over the resurgence of violence in the community.
