Boko Haram Supplier Caught with Fuel Hidden in Drink Bottles

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in a coordinated effort with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested a suspected Boko Haram collaborator, Ahmadu Mohammed Dogo, in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Dogo was apprehended while attempting to smuggle fuel to the insurgents, cleverly concealed in drink bottles. Security operatives intercepted the illicit supply, which was reportedly bound for Gamboru-Ngala, a known hotspot for insurgent activities near the Nigeria–Cameroon border.

According to military sources, the arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing fight against terrorism in the North-East, as it disrupts a critical supply line for the insurgents. The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full network behind the fuel smuggling operation.

Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to security agencies.
