Government of Lagos State has declare Tuesday 20, August 2024 as public holiday for public workers to mark Isese Day celebration. This will go down to history as the first time the state government declare public holiday for Isese Day celebration. This included in a circular given by the Head of service. Mr. Bode Agoro. In line with the circular the governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved 20 August 2024 work free day for public workers within the state. The governor also said in the circular that all the workers should resume work on Wednesday 21 August 2024 by 8:am. This is sign of commitment to give all the necessary support to indigenous and traditional institutions to preserve our norms and values. Sanwo -Olu concluded.
