Building housing 4 flats burns in Byazhin Kubwa Abuja

A building housing 4 one bedroom flats has tragically burnt down in a fire outbreak in Byazhin Area of Kubwa, Abuja.

The incident which took place on Wednesday, was said to have started with a flame from the first flat which later exploded due to the presence of gas cylinder in the second flat.

Neighbors and sympathizers were all gathered to put off the fire with the use of water and soap before the arrival of Fire fighters.

Fortunately, the Fire Fighters who were stationed at the NYSC camp Kubwa responded when been called upon.

A source from the gathered crowd who wish to speak on anonymity noted that “the fire fighters didn’t come on time due to bad road and difficulty locating the place on google map”

When Newsmen contacted one of the fire fighters top officials on the situation on ground, he refused to respond saying he doesn’t have the right to make any comments except when authorized to do so from the office.
