Falana Objects speaking with Bobrisky

Mr Femi Falana, a Lagos Lawyer, has objected having any connection with alleged bribery over prison arrangements or money laundering charges against Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky.
His response was as a result of the allegations in a viral video by blogger Martins Otse known as VeryDarkMan, suggesting that some unnamed officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly collected N15 million from Bobrisky to drop money laundering charge againt him.
The video also suggested that Falana also seek presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for N10 million.
However, while speaking last night on Channels Television’s on the program “Politics Today”, Falana dismissed the accusations, saying: “Bobrisky never spoke to me. I have never met him. I do not know him from Adam. He was alleged to have spoken to my son, Folarin popularly known as falz”
The renowned lawyer said Bobrisky approached his son Folarin on May 4, requesting for N3 million to be placed in a special part of the prison.
“My son asked him: ‘Are you calling me under the authorization of the superintendent of prisons?’ He said: ‘No,’ and my son said: ‘Please, don’t call me again’,” the lawyer said.
Falana, show his frustration at what he called the spread of falsehoods over the video on social media platforms, describing the allegations as “infantile radicalism”.
