Club Convenes in Ilorin for Kwara 2025 Convention

Over thousand participants with more than one hundred and fifteen clubs from six to eight state will be in Ilorin the Kwara State capital for the joint Districts Convention of Lions Club International District 404B2 & 404B3 Nigeria tagged Kwara 2025.
Speaking with journalists in Ilorin today, the Districts Governor 404B2, who is also the Chief Host Lion Tolulope Senbanjo said the two districts combined together to have a three days convention, which include seminar, novelty match and other sporting activities.
Shobaanjo emphasized that Lions International is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to community service and leadership development, boasting over 1.4 million members across more than 200 countries.
The Event Coordinator, Lion Tosin Ijaduola, explained the organization’s community service efforts as part of the convention visit to Government Day Secondary School, Tanke, where students received skill acquisition training in liquid soap making.

Similarly, the Governor of District 404B3, Dr. Ibrahim Jide, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to healthcare development, citing its success in building dialysis and diabetes centers in major cities to support public health initiatives.
