Suspected Kidnapper On Run After Abandoning His 6-Year -Old Victim

The Ondo State Police Command today, Wednesday, announced that it has found a six-year-old boy abandoned by a suspected kidnapper who abducted him in his parents house at the Igbokoda area of the state. The suspected kidnapper’s whereabouts is currently unknown.
The state police command announced the development on its X handle while giving an update on the abduction of the boy which occurred last Sunday in the riverine town.
According to an X user who posted the incident and whose handle is @nicksonbaba, the suspected kidnapper abducted the boy when his parents were not around and all efforts to find him proved abortive, adding that the matter was later reported at the Igbokoda Police Station.
The state police command reacted shortly after the posts were written, saying the Divisional Police Officer of the Igbokoda Police Station was aware, as the matter was reported at the station.
However, while giving an update on the incident today, Wednesday, the state police command confirmed that the boy had been found from where he was abandoned by the suspected kidnapper who was apparently aware that detectives were on his trail.
The command added that the boy had been handed over to his parents while efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspect.
