The former Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, Dr Dakuku Peterside has described the Niger State Governor, farmer Umaru Bago as an exemplary leader that should be emulated.
The former DG NIMASA and former member representing Andoni/Opobo/Nkoro Federal Constituency, Dakuku Peterside stated this when he visited Minna the state capital
He admitted that the leadership style of farmer Umaru Bago has made Niger State become a model for others, as the Governor has clarity of vision, strong leadership and a compelling vision for the State.
Dr Dakuku Peterside also acknowledged the farmer Governor’s sense of collaboration which has no doubt brought developmental strides through all inclusive governance.
He said, the number of projects undertaken by the farmer Governor is remarkable and has made Niger State unique in several aspects while also recognizing the farmer Governor’s team for being instrumental to his success.

Farmer Umaru Bago who appreciated the former Federal Lawmaker for the visit revealed that the State Government will continue to partner with people who have the interest of the State at heart for rapid development.
He recalled the significant roles played by Dr Dakuku Peterside when he was a federal lawmaker and described him as a man of honour while also reiterating his commitment to the growth of the Nation.
