The turbaning ceremony of former Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar and the wedding celebration of his daughter, Khadija Mohammed took place at the Emir’s Palace in Bauchi. At the event, Deputy Governor Auwal Jatau allegedly slapped Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar during a heated exchange.
The altercation was reportedly sparked by remarks made by Minister Tuggar that were perceived as disrespectful towards the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed.
Minister Tuggar has been accused of spreading misinformation and making disparaging comments about the PDP-led administration in Bauchi.
