“Drain the Dam or Die” — Bandit Leader Bello Turji Threatens Sokoto Community
Notorious bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, has reportedly issued a chilling ultimatum to residents of Isa Local Government Area in Sokoto State: drain a local dam or face deadly consequences.
Security analyst Bakatsine revealed the threat in a post on X, stating that Turji accused the dam of obstructing the movement of his armed group in the area.
“Bandit kingpin Bello Turji has vowed to force villagers in Isa LGA, Sokoto State to drain their dam, warning of brutal consequences for defiance. How is a terrorist bragging like a ruler?” Bakatsine wrote.
As of the time of this report, there has been no official response from security agencies or government authorities regarding the threat.
