Drama as Security Blocks Senator Natasha from Entering National Assembly

Tensions flared at the National Assembly complex in Abuja on Tuesday when security operatives barred suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, from accessing the premises.

Senator Natasha arrived at the gate accompanied by prominent activist Aisha Yesufu, rights advocate Mama P, fellow activist Randy, and a large group of supporters. However, security personnel stationed at the entrance refused to let her in.

Aisha Yesufu confronted the officers, questioning the legitimacy of the order that prevented Natasha’s entry.

“The National Assembly belongs to all of us. Why are you stopping us? Refusing to obey unjust rules doesn’t make us cowards,” she protested.

The confrontation escalated as some members of the crowd began shouting “Push!” and attempted to breach the gate.
