Edo Farmer Killed, Buried by Workers Over ₦900K Pineapple Sales

A shocking tragedy has unfolded in Igueze village, Ovia Northeast LGA of Edo State, where 56-year-old farmer Henry Oyagbomwan was gruesomely murdered by his own farm workers.

The suspects five in total allegedly killed Oyagbomwan after he sold pineapples worth ₦900,000.

Police sources revealed that the assailants collected the money from the sales, murdered their employer, and buried him in a shallow grave before fleeing to various locations. Two of the suspects hail from Akwa Ibom, while the remaining three are from northern Nigeria.

Security agencies have since launched a manhunt to apprehend the fleeing suspects and bring them to justice.
