Peter Obi Hails Tems on Grammy Win, Applauds Nigerian Talent

Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has congratulated Nigerian singer Tems on her victory at the 67th Grammy Awards, where she won Best African Music Performance for her song Love Me Jeje.

Obi described Tems as a shining example of Nigerian creativity and brilliance, commending her achievement as well as the entire Nigerian entertainment industry for its contributions to global music.

Highlighting the country’s rich talent pool, Obi also praised other Nigerian artists who received Grammy nominations, emphasizing the need to support and nurture young talents.

He reaffirmed his commitment to building a nation that fosters youth development and helps individuals maximize their potential.

“I am ever elated by the huge success Nigerian youths are making in various fields, especially in the entertainment sector.

“I like therefore to extend my hearty congratulations to our Nigerian Afrobeats star, Tems #temsbaby, who just secured her second Grammy Award with her win in the Best African Music Performance category.
