Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced the successful launch of 29 additional Starlink satellites into Earth’s orbit.
The satellites were deployed from Florida, further enhancing the Starlink constellation operated by SpaceX. Musk shared the news on Sunday through a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, stating, “29 more Starlink satellites were added to the constellation.”
As reported by Space.com, this recent deployment increases the total number of Starlink satellites in orbit to 7,135 as of March 28, 2025, with 7,105 of them currently operational.
Starlink, a project under Musk’s aerospace company, aims to deliver high-speed internet access to underserved and remote areas worldwide.
This deployment follows Musk’s announcement regarding the activation of Starlink services in Armenia, highlighting the company’s continued international expansion.
Additionally, Musk has recently stepped into a more prominent political role as a special adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, a position that has garnered considerable public and media attention.
