
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has neutralized over 30 terrorists in a joint operation with ground troops in Borno State.
The airstrikes were conducted on September 5, 2025, in Dar-El-Jamal Village, Bama local government area of Borno State.The operation was in response to reports of heavy terrorist engagement against friendly forces in the area.
The NAF deployed an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Air Interdiction (AI) mission, which resulted in three precise and successive strikes against fleeing terrorists.Over 30 insurgents were neutralized, and the area was secured by reinforcement troops.
The operation highlights the synergy between air and ground forces in counter-terrorism operations.It demonstrates the Nigerian Armed Forces’ resolve to dismantle terrorist networks and protect vulnerable communities.
The NAF assured that it will continue to work with sister services and security agencies to ensure the safety and security of all citizens across the country.
