Expelled members causing disunity within the party – NNPP alleges

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), on Thursday, revealed that, Facing challenges from expelled members attempting to destabilize the party, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) reiterated its commitment to unity and discipline.
The party also accused some expelled members of the party of being used by rival political parties to sow discord and create disaffection within the party.
NNPP national chairman, Dr Ajuji Ahmed, who disclosed this in Abuja, said a group of expelled members are fighting hard to destroy the party.
The chairman also emphasised the NNPP’s dual role as the ruling party in Kano State and constructive opposition in other parts of the country.
He issued a stern warning to members engaging in anti-party activities, stressing that such actions would not be tolerated.
He said: “We intend to continue to play our role as the ruling party in Kano State, and a viable and constructive opposition in all other parts of the country. Let me sound a note of warning to our members.the
