A woman, Fadila Adamu, has been sentenced to death for the kidnapping and subsequent death of an eight-year-old girl on Friday.

The court found her guilty based on evidence presented by the prosecution, which alleges she kidnapped the child, took her to her home, and then threw her into a well, leading to the child’s death.
The incident took place in Kano State in July 2019.
