
A court has reversed a previous order that blocked the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja vacated the injunction, allowing the Senate’s six-month suspension of the senator to stand.

The court found the original order was too broad and interfered with the Senate’s legislative powers, upholding the doctrine of separation of powers. The case will reconvene on March 25th to address any remaining issues.
