FG Issues Flood Warning For 3 States Residents

The Federal Government, through NEMA, has warned residents of Kebbi, Niger, and Kwara states to leave flood-prone areas.

FCNN gathered that NEMA has activated its flood preparedness and response protocols and directed regional offices to intensify public awareness efforts.

Residents in at-risk communities are encouraged to evacuate to higher grounds as a precautionary measure.

State governments are urged to support their SEMAs and LEMCs to implement contingency plans and minimize the impact of potential flooding.
