The Federal Government of Nigeria has on Friday said it has announced the commencement of the implementation of the Dual Mandate Policy across all Federal Colleges of Education.
FCNN gathered that this is sequel to the enactment of the Federal Colleges of Education Act, 2023.
According to a statement made available to newsmen by the Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Education, Folasade Boriowo, “this legislation, signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, empowers FCOEs to concurrently award the Nigeria Certificate in Education and Bachelor’s Degrees in Education — marking a significant milestone in Nigeria’s teacher education reform.” The statement reads in part.
