FG Partner Pakistani Government On Improving Agricultural Production

Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, FMAFS, has said that Nigeria will collaborate with Pakistan to explore areas of possible partnership in agriculture.
Abdullahi in a statement by Umar Rashida, Principal Information Officer, For: Director Information, FMAFS, made this known when the High Commissioner of Pakistan paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
He noted that both countries have a smooth relationship and a lot in common.
The Minister emphasized the need for both countries to work together and develop each other pointing out that, “Nigeria is ready to partner with all our friends, by creating something that would work for the two countries.”
He further added that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was also working hard to see what he can create to tackle the issues of insecurity due to climate change.
Major General (Rtd) Sohali Ahmad Khan, the High Commissioner of Pakistan, on his part revealed that the purpose of his visit was to offer solutions and learn from Nigeria.
“We are looking at offering you ways and means through which Nigeria can have their capacity building saying that Pakistan would like to share training and expertise in terms of research and innovation where professionals from Nigeria will come to Pakistan and see for themselves things that will be of interest” he said
