Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved an increase in the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state from N20,000 to N30,000.

Governor Fintiri, dressed in NYSC regalia, reiterated his administration’s commitment to youth development and corps welfare, noting that the increment reflects ongoing efforts to ensure a conducive service environment.
He also revealed plans to construct a new NYSC camp and directed that corps members with relevant professional backgrounds be involved in supervising the project.
Describing corps members as key partners in governance, especially in education, the governor urged them to embrace discipline and community development during their service year.
The event featured remarks from the Commissioner for Youths, Barrister Wali Yakubu, and State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Osoro Caroline, who both praised the governor’s leadership and support for the scheme.
