Shehu Sani: El-Rufai, Amaechi Owe Nigerians an Apology
Former Senator Shehu Sani has criticized ex-governors Nasir El-Rufai and Rotimi Amaechi, stating they owe Nigerians an apology for the country’s current economic hardship. In his Sallah message, Sani accused the two of hypocrisy, noting that despite holding influential positions since 1999, they now speak about poverty and hardship as if they weren’t part of the problem.
“If they still talk about hunger and poverty, they must first apologize,” Sani said, arguing that the present state of the nation stems from years of misgovernance and policy failures by those who once held power.
