The CEO of Biskad Pharmacy Patigi was shot dead on Monday in a shocking attack by bandits who attempted to abduct her.
The incident occurred shortly after the Ishai prayer when she bravely resisted their forced attempt to take her away. Afterwards, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Patigi General Hospital.
In a related occurrence that same evening, another individual was confirmed dead in Ndanaku, having been shot by bandits during an attack on the village.
These violent events have raised grave concerns about safety in our community, particularly in Patigi and the broader Kwara North region.
