Foundation Donates Medical Equipment To Hospitals In Lagos

The Heal the World Foundation and Apostle Tola Olukilede Foundation had recently donated some hospital equipment and supplies to the Gbagada General Hospital and Orile Agege General Hospital of Lagos State.
The foundation also did a comprehensive renovation of the entire second floor of Gbagada General Hospital, including the Psychiatry Clinic in addition to the donation.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gbagada General Hospital, Dr. Olusegun Joseph, who spoke during the commissioning ceremony, expressed great gratitude to the donors, saying the Psychiatry Clinic’s refurbishment represented 50% of the healing process in mental healthcare.
“They didn’t just renovate a space; they revitalized the Psychiatry Clinic, the ENT Clinic, and even the Seminar Room, which also serves as a counseling space for patient relatives,” he said.
Kunle Ade-Ojo, the Managing Director, Toyota Nigeria Limited, who was the special guest at the event, in his remarks, lauded the philanthropic achievements of Apostle Tola Olukilede, saying his foundation has brought relief to several homes.
At Orile Agege General Hospital, a brand new Children’s Ward was renovated with comfortable beddings and mattresses.
Dr. Sola Pitan, its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Sola Pitan, while commenting on the development, described the project as timely, noting that the building would contribute significantly to the training of trainee doctors.
Apostle Tola Olukilede emphasized that the projects are more than bricks and mortar but symbols of compassion, resilience, and the enduring belief that everyone deserves access to quality care and hope for a better tomorrow.
“From scholarships to hospital bill payments and now these legacy projects, we’re writing a story of impact for years ahead,” he said.
