Foundation Introduces programme

An organisation known as Teens World Foundation (TWF), which is committed to empowering and mentoring teenagers from underserved communities, has introduced the inaugural cohort of its SkillXplore Programme in Lagos.
The organization welcomes 25 teenagers, who will all be on full scholarships, to embark on an intensive training journey in relevant tech skills.
Kossy Okonkwo, the founder of Teens World made this known, saying youths should rewrite the nation’s story by gaining skills that are relevant and transformative.
Okonkwo added that the event represents a major milestone in the foundation’s mission to equip youths with marketable, in-demand skills that align with global standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically goals 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
The founder reenacted TWF’s commitment to creating equal opportunities for all, regardless of background while ensuring every teenager get access to tools and mentorship needed in order to excel.
