Governor Aiyedatiwa Approves Recruitment of 1,010 Teachers
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the recruitment of 1,010 teachers who successfully passed the screening exercise conducted by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).
The newly recruited teachers will be deployed to secondary schools across the state to address the shortage of teaching staff.
A statement from the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, announced that the list of successful candidates will be published online and displayed at TESCOM headquarters and zonal offices throughout the state.
The statement also noted that the list for primary school teachers is in its final stages and will be released soon.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa had expressed concern over teaching staff shortages in public schools, particularly in rural communities. This necessitated his directive that the recruitment must be based on the peculiar needs of the understaffed schools across the State.”
