Governor Uba Sani Approves N3.8 Billion
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved N3.8 billion for gratuity, death benefits, and pension arrears for pensioners and families of deceased civil servants on Tuesday.
The funds will be used to settle outstanding gratuities, death benefits, and accrued pension rights under the Contributory Pension Scheme.

The approval comes after growing concerns and appeals from pensioners and bereaved families affected by the pension verification exercise.
Governor Sani emphasized his administration’s commitment to the welfare of senior citizens and assured that the verification exercise will be concluded swiftly to enable seamless pension payments.
Since taking office in May 2023, Governor Sani has disbursed a total of N6.6 billion towards gratuity payments, accrued rights, and death benefits.
