Group of boys kills man over girlfriend, Family calls on Nigerian Authorities and Kogi State Government for Justice

Tragedy struck the a family in Abuja identified as the Oge family on as their beloved son and cousin, Francis Oge, was brutally murdered in Abuja by a group of young men allegedly over a relationship dispute.

It was gathered that , the attackers claimed Francis was involved with one of their girlfriends and refused to end the relationship a reason they used to justify the violent act.

The shocking incident has left the family and community in mourning, with calls intensifying for justice to be served. Five of the suspects involved in the attack have been apprehended and are currently in police custody.

In a heartfelt public appeal, a cousin of the deceased took to social media to seek urgent intervention from government authorities and the Nigerian Police Force.

The post specifically called on prominent figures such as Usman Okai, Austin Omera, Ugbede Opaluwa, and Omera Odolu Son to help ensure that justice is not only served but also seen to be served.

“We call on the Federal Government and the Nigeria Police Force to help us ensure justice prevails for our brother. Dear Usman Okai, Austin Omera, Ugbede Opaluwa, and Omera Odolu Son  please help us seek justice for Francis Oge,” the message read.

Hashtags like #NigeriaPoliceForce, #KogiStateGovernment, #Nigeriapo, and #kogistategohave been used to amplify the call for justice, highlighting the need for swift legal action and thorough investigation.

The family and concerned citizens urge the authorities to prosecute all those involved in the killing to the fullest extent of the law. They also appeal for public support to keep the case alive until justice is delivered.

This incident once again draws attention to the growing concerns around youth violence and the importance of ensuring legal consequences for such heinous acts.
