Naira Marley admitted that he and his label were not perfect but insisted they never declared war on the late singer. He lamented being torn apart by those who knew the truth yet remained silent.
He also addressed skeptics who doubted his ability to survive the ordeal, stating that he chose to face the justice system rather than flee, even spending time in jail.
“I never thought silence could be so loud… I have carried this weight, this pain, this shame that was never mine to bear. We, as Marlians, were not perfect. We had to grow, we had to adapt.”
