Suleman Sparks Outrage with Death Threat Remark in Viral Video
Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, has stirred controversy after making a shocking statement in a viral video, warning that anyone who criticizes him in Auchi, Edo State, risks deadly consequences.
Suleman claimed that his supporters might take extreme actions against critics who speak negatively about him near his church.
“If you want to die and you’ve been praying for death, but it hasn’t come, there’s a way to make it happen.
Come to Auchi, stand by the front gate of our church, and say something against me. Somebody will kill you, another will bury you and the third will be doing praise and worship on your dead body,” he said.
The statement has triggered widespread backlash on social media, with many questioning the appropriateness of such comments from a religious leader.

He also recounted an encounter with individuals he claimed were cult members who defended him violently.
“I’ve had cult boys bring people to me and say, ‘This boy was insulting you, we beat him and told him to apologise.’ I asked them, ‘Who are you?’ They said, ‘You no go like who we be, but you don help us.’ Kindness,” Suleman added.
The remarks have intensified debate about the role of religious figures in promoting peace and accountability.
