Bandits have attacked an off-campus hostel, Istijaba Hostel, in Unguwar Jaji, Kebbi State, killing a Fulani herder and abducting a student from the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) on Tuesday around 3a.m.

The incident was confirmed by Jamilu Magaji, the university’s Public Relations Officer.
