It Is Disrespectful To Call Me Nigerian Artist, Instead African Artist, Burna Boy Warned.

Burna Boy recently expressed his deep feelings about being labeled as just a “Nigerian artist,” calling it disrespectful. He emphasized that he should be identified as an African artist, not just Nigerian, because his dream goes beyond national boundaries—he envisions a united Africa.
Burna Boy lamented the frequent conflicts between African nations like Nigeria and South Africa, saying it makes him emotional. He compared the situation to the United States, where unity among states is a source of strength and global respect.
He believes that if Africa were to unite like the US, it would become the strongest nation in the world, with a thriving music industry that would take African sound global.
In his words, the disunity among African countries weakens the continent, and only by coming together as one will Africa realize its full potential.
