Iyabo Ojo Blames Liz Anjorin Amid Threats, Office Fire Incident

Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has accused her colleague Liz Anjorin of being a potential threat to her safety and that of her family, following a series of unsettling events, including a fire outbreak at her office.
In a video posted online, Iyabo warned that Liz Anjorin should be held accountable should anything happen to her or her family members.
This comes on the heels of mounting tensions, threats, and a mysterious fire that engulfed Iyabo’s Lagos office earlier in the week. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Iyabo’s daughter, Priscilla, also took to social media, claiming the fire was only one of several threats they had faced. She revealed that in May, her mother received a threatening letter suggesting their movements were being monitored.
Addressing the situation on her Instagram page on Thursday, July 10, Iyabo confirmed her daughter’s claims, stating that certain individuals were persistently trying to harm her and destroy her family.
“Without prejudice to the ongoing investigation,” she wrote, “it is important to state that a few days before my daughter’s wedding in Tanzania, I received a letter threatening my life at my office. The letter explicitly stated that I would go through hell in the next three months.”
Less than 24 hours after Iyabo’s post, Liz Anjorin reacted by announcing the dismissal of a N1 billion lawsuit. In response, Iyabo released a now-deleted video, stating, “If anything should happen to my children or my kids, hold Lizzy Anjorin responsible… we haven’t started any case yet… that was just ADR, case never start.”
Iyabo emphasized that although the matter had not reached the courts, discussions were ongoing as part of an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process, which she noted had not even commenced in earnest.
In an unexpected twist, social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), reacted to Iyabo’s statement.

He described her post as surprising and cryptically hinted that he knew more than he was willing to reveal, choosing to remain silent out of respect for the actress.
