Iyanya announces new album, set for U.S. tour in 2025

Nigerian music star Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, popularly known as Iyanya, has unveiled plans for a new album and an accompanying U.S. tour scheduled for later this year.

The Kukere crooner, who described the project as his official comeback to the American stage, will release the album on September 12, before embarking on the “IYANYA: The Forester’s Son Tour” in October and November.

The tour will take him to major U.S. cities including Brooklyn (NY), Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and North Carolina.

Expressing his excitement on Instagram, Iyanya wrote: “Album arrives Sept 12, hit the road Oct & Nov, United States, here we come.”

The singer, currently enjoying momentum with his latest single Blue Waters, is also lining up special performances that insiders say will mark his “biggest comeback yet.”

According to a source, the tour is highly anticipated: “He hasn’t been back in America since 2019. This is an opportunity for him and his fans to reconnect after six years and share the moment.”
