Just in: Heavily armed DSS operatives invade Lagos assembly, seals building over Obasa’s removal

Operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS, and Nigeria Police, have stormed the vicinity of the Lagos State House of Assembly, in the early hours of today and sealed up the offices of the Speaker, Mojisola Meranda, her deputy and clerk of the house.

FCNN gathered that as of 10 am, the armed security personnel took over the premises at Alausa, Ikeja, and environs frisking every passersby while Meranda, arrived with her convoy at about 11.15am.

It could be recalled that that the removed , ex Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, has sued the state lawmakers challenging his removal as the Speaker of the Assembly.

It was gathered, that Obasa filed a motion at the Ikeja Division of the State High Court, where he is also seeking an accelerated hearing of his suit.
