First Lady Affirms Commitment to Nation’s Improvement

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has reaffirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is dedicated to enhancing the nation and alleviating hardships faced by its citizens.
She made this statement during an Iftar gathering in Abuja that included former First Ladies, female members of the National Assembly, and their spouses.
At the event, the First Lady encouraged Nigerians to engage in acts of kindness and assist those in need.
Quoting her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, Mrs. Tinubu emphasized, “If we each help one person at a time, it will significantly contribute to reducing hardship.”

Senator Tinubu also reflected on the unique occurrence of Ramadan coinciding with Lent this year, describing it as divinely appointed.
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu remarked, “This period is one of sober reflection for both our Muslim and Christian brothers and sisters. God has ordained it to happen at this time in our nation.”
She urged the Muslim community to embrace the values demonstrated during Ramadan and to continually pray for divine mercy for the nation.
Hajiya Nana Shettima, wife of the Vice President, expressed her gratitude to the First Lady for organizing the Iftar and encouraged Nigerians to keep the President and the country in their prayers.
The event featured a keynote lecture on the spiritual significance of Ramadan, delivered by Professor Fatima Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor of Azman University, Kano.
It concluded with special prayers for Nigeria, its leaders, and the welfare of all citizens.
