Kebbi Intensifies Security Efforts Under Governor Nasir  Renewed Action for Peace

The Kebbi State Government, under the proactive leadership of His Excellency Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has stepped up efforts to address rising security concerns across the state.

In recent weeks, the government has facilitated the deployment of more security personnel to vulnerable areas, including parts of Zuru, Danko-Wasagu, Suru, and Yauri. These deployments are part of a coordinated plan with federal agencies to restore peace and safety.

Governor Idris has also equipped operatives with new patrol vehicles, motorcycles, and surveillance tools to improve rapid response and tracking of criminal activities. In addition, the government has intensified community engagement by holding townhall meetings with traditional leaders and local stakeholders to strengthen grassroots intelligence and trust.

Victims of insecurity are not left behind. The state has begun distributing relief materials and offering support to displaced families while promoting peace initiatives in affected areas.

The administration has also opened dialogue with neighboring states to enhance inter-state security cooperation and joint patrols. Governor Idris reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding lives and property, urging residents to remain alert and support security efforts.
